What's Covered
BulletProof AC covers parts that fail because of a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, starting on the installation date: on residential installations, 10 years on split-system condensers and air handlers and on package units; on commercial installations, 5 years on split systems and package units; and 5 years on mini-splits, residential or commercial.
If a covered part fails, we provide the replacement part. If that exact part is no longer available, we provide a comparable replacement.
What's Not Covered
- Labor and service costs. This covers diagnosis, removal and reinstallation labor, refrigerant, and service-call fees. Ask your installer about a labor warranty.
- Problems caused by improper installation Including incorrect sizing, wiring, refrigerant charge or drainage.
- Damage from outside causes Such as flooding, fire, lightning, power surges, storms, accidents, abuse or neglect.
- Routine maintenance Such as filters, cleaning, drain-line clearing and tune-ups.
- Units that have been modified Or repaired with non-approved parts.
- Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect operation.
What We Ask of You
- Have it installed by a licensed HVAC contractor. Installation requires an EPA Section 608-certified technician, and most areas require a licensed contractor and a permit.
- Keep your paperwork. Keep your BulletProof AC receipt and your installer's invoice showing the installation date and address.
- Maintain the system. Change filters, keep the outdoor coil clear and keep the drain line flowing.
Residential vs. Commercial
This warranty is built for homes. Commercial installations, such as offices, retail and other business uses, run harder, so split systems and package units on commercial installations are covered for 5 years on parts (instead of 10 years residential). Mini-splits are covered for 5 years on parts, residential or commercial.

Do I have to register my BulletProof AC system to get the warranty?
No. Registration isn't required. Your coverage starts on the installation date. Keep your proof of purchase and your installer's invoice showing the install date. You can register anyway if you'd like your information on file, but it's optional.
How long is the BulletProof AC warranty?

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my house?
Yes. The warranty goes with the equipment to the next owner of the home for the rest of the coverage period.
Does the warranty cover labor?
No. The BulletProof AC warranty covers replacement parts. Labor, refrigerant and service-call charges are not included. Many installers offer their own labor warranty, so ask yours.
